Mark your calendars! Bessie's Diner's 9th Annual Fly In or Drive In Pancake Breakfast returns June 19 & 20, 2027 at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport in Janesville, WI, where you can experience two of our favorite things: pancakes and planes.
Join us Father's Day weekend for one of southern Wisconsin's most unique traditions, where pancakes meet planes. Enjoy an all you can eat breakfast right next to the runway while watching new and vintage aircraft fly in throughout the weekend. Whether you arrive by car or by plane, there's something for the whole family to enjoy.
Tickets will go on sale in Spring 2027. Be sure to follow Bessie's Diner on Facebook and Instagram for announcements, updates, and event details.

Will I see planes?
Of course! You'll see a variety of aircraft throughout the weekend, including beautiful vintage airplanes and modern aircraft flying into the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport.
Can I purchase any souvenirs?
Yes! We'll have Bessie's Diner merchandise available for purchase during the event.
Will the inside dining room be open?

We love having pilots join us each year. Applications for aircraft display will open closer to the event. Display pilots receive special event perks, including complimentary admission and breakfast.
Where do I park my car? Or my plane?
Car parking is located right in front of the diner when you arrive. There will be plenty of aircraft parking not only on the ramp directly behind Bessie's but east and west of the terminal building, as well.
Can I smoke at the event?
Smoking is prohibited on the ramp side of the terminal building. A smoking stand is available on the vehicle parking lot side of the terminal near the flagpole.
What happens if it rains?
In the event of rain, we’ll move inside to the conference rooms at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport.
Where can I stay the night?
Extend your stay and book a reservation at one of the boutique hotels in downtown Beloit. Book at Ironworks Hotel for a cool, comfortable stay overlooking the Rock River, or get your groove on at the chic, classic Hotel Goodwin. You can’t go wrong!
